My husband and I needed to come from out of state(ID) for his bone marrow transplant. When we got the "news" for transplant, we had less than 2 weeks to find accommodations. Daniel was a Saint helping us throughout the process and working with us. We didn't qualify for Fred Hutch housing. Staybridge is actually 1 block closer to the clinic than Pete Gross house. We were able to secure a room suite where the living room and bedroom had a divider. Added bonus, all rooms have a sleeper sofa. Why we chose Staybridge after looking into airbnb, furnished apartments, other hotels. The vicinity to Fred Hutch, breakfast everyday, kitchenette, laundry room(free), and walking distance to alot of things in the area. They do have a parking garage at the hotel. They are a pet friendly hotel! Now let me tell you about the staff, Daniel(director of sales) has been a Angel in our stressful time and organized everything for our stay. Tracy, Joyce, Lucia at the front desk......they are 100% about the guest. We did have drinks and food at the bar. Kristen is a very attentive bartender(ess). Will and Ransses kept the food quality up par. Lori who does the breakfast is a ray of sunshine to your morning. Henry the GM, is very attentive and visible. Christopher from maintenance, very proactive! The house cleaning crew, always cleaned our room to expectations. If you needed any supplies being extra toilet paper, trash bags, etc they came promptly. We stayed here for 5 months and I was able to have mail sent to me or mailed out. I would stay here again with no hesitation!

Location was super convenient to visit all the places around lake Union, room was very clean. Most importantly, customer service was top notch thanks to Catherine and management! Thank you for the amazing service and hospitality, I look forward to staying here in the future!

Great to have kitchen and cooking facilities in the room. Close to several public transport options, either right outside or within 2 blocks (buses 40, 70, and C line, and streetcars). Good gym - 3 or 4 of all cardio machines, plus decent weights. Free laundry facilities, so expect them to be in demand. The free breakfast was a nice touch. Staff were always accommodating and helpful. Appeared to be a safe part of town, compared with downtown. Would stay again.

I attempted to stay here twice, and both experiences were negative, so I likely won't be booking here again, which is a real shame because the location and the rooms themselves are really nice. It's right next to my office. I will probably book at Even or Marriott next time, both are as close. The first time I was somehow moved to the Fremont hotel. Upon arrival I found out it was not the SLU location and was forced to pay the walk up rate -- $800 for two nights. The second time, I logged in to check in only to find that my reservation was canceled. Nobody attempted to contact me in any way. I called the hotel and they told me there was a flood in the hotel and that there was nothing they could do, I was out of luck, and would need to book elsewhere. They said they tried calling me several times (which was a lie). I argued with the person on the phone "how can this be legal?" I was about to call corporate when the manager called me and informed me that they had booked me at the Holiday Inn instead. The manager was professional and tried her best to take care of me. They comped my stay which I appreciate, but the Holiday Inn was a dump. The fact nobody ever attempted to contact me (and then lied about it), and the fact that the first woman I spoke with told me I was out of luck was completely unacceptable and it lost my business. On the plus side, the rooms are very nice. While it's fine for a two night stay, this is even more comfortable for a longer stay. There is a kitchen, bedroom with a comfortable bed and a small bathroom. I really liked my first stay here. There is also a bar and small restaurant (part of Even) but things there were weird too. One night there was no food because the cook was giving birth and would supposedly be back the following day (huh?). The bar was also out of half of the drinks. Maybe you will be luckier than I was, but I won't be back. I'll try booking at Even, on the same premises, instead. But Even owns the bar, and even that was a miss. Maybe I'll try Marriott.

They cant make a room key that works Third trip up with a hotel employee “oh that the kind of lock this room has” A hotel front desk, when you boil it down, has only ONE JOB. make a key that opens the door and they failed miserably at that 500 $ room and my stay is ruined by incompetence
